FREEDOM 308 WIN 150 GR FULL METAL JACKET (FMJ) NEW 20RD Box
About Freedom Munitions Ammunition
All of our Freedom Munitions ammo (except.50 BMG) is loaded on our own Ammo Load Mark X (pistol) and Mark L (rifle) loading systems. Freedom Munitions uses only premium components and performs a variety of quality checks during the loading process, guaranteeing consistent performance round after round.
This 308 WIN 150 GR FULL METAL JACKET (FMJ) ammo is ideal for the shooter that hits the range or heads out for the hunt. The FMJ bullet is a projectile consisting of a soft lead core encased in a copper shell. This allows for higher velocity and improved feeding characteristics. Some discoloration may have occurred in these cases. Winchester WMA head stamped cases were purchased primed, new, and unfired. They were factory sealed with waterproof lacquer in the case mouth and primer pocket. The discoloration is due to the annealing and added sealant, which we cannot remove from primed cases. Extensive testing has been done to ensure they are of the same quality as any other case we use. A standard solvent is all that is needed to clean your firearm after use, and the cleaning process is the same for these as for other unsealed cases.
⚠️ Ammunition Shipping Restrictions by State ⚠️
Most U.S. states currently allow legal shipment of ammunition directly to a buyer’s residential address (“front door”) with no special requirements beyond federal age restrictions:
-
18+ for rifle/shotgun ammunition
-
21+ for handgun ammunition
However, some states and jurisdictions restrict or prohibit direct shipment to the customer. Please review the details below before placing a bid.
🚫 States & Jurisdictions with Restrictions
State/Jurisdiction | Restriction Details |
---|---|
California | 🔴 Direct-to-door ammo shipments are currently NOT permitted. Although the Ninth Circuit ruled on July 24, 2025 in Rhode v. Bonta that California’s ammunition background check law is unconstitutional and affirmed the permanent injunction, the ruling is not yet in effect. Procedural steps—such as issuing a mandate—are still pending. Until those steps are completed, California’s background check requirements remain in effect and must be followed. ✅ We can still ship your ammunition to a licensed FFL in California for pickup. Once the injunction becomes final, we will adjust accordingly. |
Illinois | Must provide a valid FOID card and state-issued ID. |
Connecticut | Must provide a state-issued ammunition certificate or permit. |
Massachusetts | Requires a firearms ID. |
New Jersey | Ammo must be shipped to a licensed FFL. FOID and state ID required. |
New York | Ammo must be shipped to a licensed FFL (gun store, etc.) — not to a private residence, per the NY SAFE Act. |
Maryland | No ammunition sales to Annapolis. |
Rhode Island | Must provide a valid license and pistol/revolver safety certificate. Must be 21+ for handgun ammo. |
Washington, D.C. | No ammunition sales allowed. |
Alaska & Hawaii | Most carriers do not offer direct shipping due to lack of ground service. |
City of Chicago | Ammo shipment prohibited. |

-
California Status:
A federal court has ruled against the state’s background check law (Rhode v. Bonta, July 2025), but the decision is not yet in effect. Until the Ninth Circuit completes required procedural steps, California’s background check laws remain enforceable.
🔁 We are currently shipping to your local FFL in California—once the ruling is finalized, we will resume direct shipments as permitted. -
Alaska & Hawaii: Due to lack of ground carrier service, most ammo shipments are not available.
